With all of the packing, moving and for a lot of first-year students — being on your own for the first time — college can be a challenge. How do you get the most out of the college experience? How do you ensure that you are successful after school?

The best advice I got when it comes to college is to get involved — and to do so early. Don’t wait until you are a junior or a senior to do something in your field. Do it immediately!
